How We Rate — EarnBet

Re-review cycle

The overall rating is reviewed every quarter and every time EarnBet publishes a material change — a new welcome offer, a new withdrawal limit, a new restricted jurisdiction, a new supported coin. In between quarterly re-reviews, individual sections of the rating (bonus, payments, mobile, support) can be bumped up or down independently if the underlying evidence changes.

Scoring

The overall rating is on a 0–5 scale, rounded to one decimal place. It is a weighted average of five sub-ratings: bonus (20%), payments and withdrawal speed (25%), game library (20%), mobile experience (15%), customer support (20%). Weights are published here and have not changed since the site launched. The sub-ratings are themselves derived from a fixed set of criteria that are listed below; subjective judgement does not enter the sub-rating itself, only the final sentence written for the review.

Criteria
  • Bonus: effective wager requirement, maximum bet during wager, maximum cash-out from the free portion, time window to clear.
  • Payments: supported coins, deposit and withdrawal minimums and maximums, median processing time measured on our own test withdrawals, KYC thresholds.
  • Games: provider count, number of titles, availability of in-house provably fair games, live-dealer coverage.
  • Mobile: readability on 390-pixel-wide screens, speed on a throttled 4G profile, availability of a web-app or native app.
  • Support: median time to first reply on live chat, availability outside European business hours, quality of answers to a scripted test question.
What lowers a score

Three things lower a score immediately regardless of the rest of the review: a withdrawal that is delayed past the operator's own published maximum without an explanation; a bonus term that is published in two places with conflicting values; and support that fails to answer a straightforward question within the operator's own published service level. Each of those costs 0.5 of a point in the relevant sub-rating until the issue is resolved.

Worked example

Suppose the welcome bonus is 150% up to 1,500 USDT with 30x wagering on the deposit plus bonus, a maximum bet of 8 USDT during wager and a seven-day clearance window. The effective wager is 30 × (deposit + bonus); the clearance window is tight for a 1,500 USDT limit; the maximum bet is average. On our rubric that scores 3.6/5 for the bonus sub-rating: generous ceiling, workable wager multiplier, but tight time window. The final paragraph of the bonus review then explains that trade-off in words so a reader does not have to reconstruct it from the number.
